A to Z Challenge: E

I am not going to write about Eega or Exorcist as well. Both of them have spoiled my sense of logic and vision to a great extent and the one time I had to endure those flicks was enough punishment for me. I won’t talk about them anymore.
Both the movies thats gonna be discussed here are action movies and used to have a good fanbase (almost cult movies) but then I don’t know what happened and people are just not excited about it anymore.

Enter the Dragon:

Once a Bruce Lee fan, always a Bruce lee fan. Now this guy is one of those actors who has appeared in a few movies but goes down in history for being just awesome and legendary! When we first got a CD player they had given us a James Bond movie CD as a complimentary gift. The first other movie that my uncle played was Enter The Dragon. Until then I had the idea that my father never watches movies or TV. For the first time in my life I saw my dad come out of his study and sit with us to watch a film.

Watch from 3:20 for the epic nunchuck scene πŸ˜€
After watching it we (me, bro and a cousin) made a nunchucks made of rope and handles from a skipping rope. Hurt like hell! πŸ˜›

Bruce Lee looks way too cute when he smiles. Although I love Return of The Dragon more than this, Enter the Dragon is awesome in its own way where Lee goes all CIA

Expendables:

I pretty much like the second part more for the humor and the number of actors I could recognize in it. There was Chuck Norris, Arnold, Bruce Willis, Liam Hemsworth <3 Β and so on.
Its sort of a WTF movie with all tanks and shit. But its fun to watch all the oldie action fellows get together and kick ass.
Now I admire such multi-starrer movies because something like that is a far fetched dream in India. These actors are way too egoistic to actually share screen presence with another big time actor. Either that or all the actors at one point will freaking go into politics and get a reputation such that no producer will ever get them to act in their film after that.
Just look at that! πŸ˜€

Good one πŸ™‚ Bruce Lee was and is truly a legend an immortal by the sheer body of his work and the philosophy that he propounded. I have lost count the number of times I would have seen his movies. Fists of Fury and The Big Boss made on a smaller budget packed a bigger punch.

Thank you for this post πŸ™‚
