Another gem in the Nandanam area. The Chamiers Cafe is such a nice place to hang out with friends, meet up with business partners or even sit by yourself and have a nice cup of coffee. The place is situated on a busy road and yet the cafe lets none of the noise get inside. The decor and the ambience of the place is so rich their food is equally tasty.
I was supposed to meet a friend in the area and he was running late. Since I was hungry as hell I stepped into this wonderful place. It was slightly misleading when I saw the boutique first. Then managed to find the cafe and got a nice table for myself and sat. I ordered a lemon iced tea and the seafood paella. This is one of the very few places that had decent tasting paella. I just took my own sweet time tasting the food and sipping on some iced tea. Even if it is such a busy cafe with people coming in all the time, no waiter/server keeps coming to ask if you need anything else. They let you be even if they need tables for their new customers. The cafe also has a variety of desserts. That time I was pretty filled with just the paella, so I paid up and left. But I have been going there once in a while to taste out their breakfast options.
It is also a very good brunch place. The place is filled to the brim with people on weekends though.
The price point is slightly on the higher side. About Rs.500 per person (if you take one main course and a drink like I did) But it is all so totally worth the money for the ambience and the taste of the food.
