I am known to roam around by myself. And I love frequenting cafés with a book as my company. Now not all coffee shops are okay with a single customer using up a table for a while. So I thought why not identify places that are nice for a solo trip….
I had been hearing a lot about this particular bistro for a while. It is located pretty near the main road and is easy to find as soon as one enters Kasturibai Nagar. There is good space for two wheeler parking and four wheeler should probably be parked a little away.
The spacious café had quirky wall art all over and the special written on a board. I ordered some Chicken Parmigiano and a lemon iced tea. The food was served in no time. The portion size is just right for one adult. But I think I would skip the dessert. One could sit there and finish a book or get their reports done or even just have a splendid meal all by themselves. The chicken was well breaded and the sauce that went with the spaghetti had just the right amount of tomato in it. I am sorry that I am not the person who takes pictures of their food before eating. But I shall try to inculcate that habit soon atleast for this blog series’ sake. Managed a half okayish Pic for this one. Hope it is fine…
Most of their main courses are good enough for one person to devour and tasty. I have tried their Mac N Cheese, seafood pasta and chicken & rice dish as well. All of them are pretty well cooked and served nice and hot. This is one place I blindly choose if I’m in adyar and very very hungry.
It is indeed a very nice place to take yourself out on a date.
