Devil Wears Prada:
Another one of those feel good movies for me. A movie based on Lauren Weisberger’s novel starring Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway (two of my big time favorite actresses)
I don’t get whats with Anne and all these makeover related roles she does. Although it suits her, the whole ugly duckling image is just too much. I haven’t seen a single girl so far who hasn’t transformed right after she leaves home. But then that is with most Indian girls and I haven’t been to any foreign country to see how they are. So I don’t know.
I used to watch this movie just for the fancy dresses they show. Its fun. And the sarcastic poker face comments made by Miranda Priestly!
December Boys:
Now this is a movie I watched only because it had Daniel Radcliffe in it. I think this came out sometime around the release of Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix. Since this fellow happens to be my first childhood celebrity crush, I pestered my brother to download the December Boys for me.
This was pretty different from the wizard role the guy was playing at the moment and made me realize he is just an actor and is not really a nice guy as portrayed in the movies (I was still in school. Don’t blame me for thinking so)
The most shocking scene for me was when Maps loses his virginity. Heart breaking moment.
P.S: I will finish this challenge pa!! as soon as possible!
