In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “A Storybook Day.”
You have to spend one day as or with your favourite fictional character. Which one would it be and what would you do?
This is too tough. So many characters to choose from and just one day time limit allowed to spend with them.
But there will always be this one special person that you would think of when something like this is announced. For me there is a special fictional character. Actually he is from a Manga/Anime series.
A Japanese cartoon I once sat and watched because school got over pretty early that day and I finally had control over the TV remote. A show called Get Backers was being aired in the Animax channel. I let it run wondering if the show will be funny. And there I was falling head over heels for the show and more than that I fell for one of the protagonists in it.
Basically this character was named for being barbaric. There is a saying in tamil “kovam irukra idathula than gunam irukum”
Translation: the ones with a temper usually have a good character
Well that one line would be showcased for this character throughout the show. What would I do if was able to spend time with my favorite character? For that one will have to watch the show and then read my fanfiction I wrote based on the same premise.
My love for him is so much that his face is all that I doodle during boring classes.
So a guy with unruly black hair that spikes out in all directions, who also has the power to make his victim have a brief dream for exactly a minute, a guy who can wield 300kg/ms, a person who comes up with an elaborate plan and knows his enemies well more than anything. And above all a guy who would never give up on his friends even if it meant risking his life…
If I ever get a chance to spend time with this guy I probably wouldn’t come back to our world…
